Nine people died and 10 others injured when a passenger bus met with an accident at Tamakhani, Madhya Nepal Municipality-5 in Lamjung district on Thursday.
According to police, the bus skidded off the road and plunged some 400 metres down the road. Eight people died on the spot, said DSP Sambhu Prasad Dhakal.
The ill-fated bus (Na 6 Kha 4136) was headed for Jita from Damauli, informed police. The injured people have been taken to Damauli hospital for treatment, it is learnt
