A jeep carrying local passengers skidded off a mountain road and tumbled down niskot Myagdi district, killing at least 5 people.
The ill-fated Mahindra Max jeep bearing registration number plate Ga 1 Ja 5106 was heading for the district headquarters from Ramche VDC, police confirmed. A police team has been sent to the accident site. However, the deceased have not been identified.
According to one local Babina Garbuja, the jeep has plunged some 100 meters down the road.
